Terms of service.
These general terms apply when you access an Industrial Linguistics website, game, course, tool, download or service. Product-specific terms and signed customer agreements supplement these terms.
Effective: 27 July 2026
Provider and acceptance
The provider is IFOST Pty Ltd (ABN 40 628 328 307), trading as Industrial Linguistics, of 10 Cassia Grove, Beecroft NSW 2119, Australia. By accessing or using a service after receiving these terms, you agree to them. A person acting for an organisation confirms that they have authority to bind it.
Services are designed primarily for organisations and workplace use. A person under 18 may use them with the authority of their organisation, parent or guardian where required by law.
Product terms and changes
A service page, licence, order page or signed agreement may add product-specific conditions. If there is an inconsistency, the signed agreement applies first, followed by the product-specific terms and then these general terms. We may improve, replace or withdraw a free feature, but will not remove a paid entitlement contrary to an applicable agreement or mandatory law.
Accounts and organisational authority
You must provide accurate information, protect account access and tell us promptly about suspected misuse. You must have authority to submit customer content, personal information and third-party material, and to invite or manage users for an organisation.
Acceptable use
You must not use a service unlawfully or to harass, defraud, distribute malware, steal credentials, send unsolicited bulk messages, infringe intellectual property, evade safety controls, probe another customer's data, overload a service or harm another person. We may reject content or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users and systems, investigate misuse, respond to non-payment or comply with law.
Content and intellectual property
IFOST retains its rights in its websites, software, courseware, games, prompts, designs and documentation. You retain rights in content you submit and grant IFOST a limited licence to receive, copy, process and transmit it only as needed to provide, support and secure the requested service or comply with law. A purchase grants only the rights stated in the applicable licence.
Customer, partner and employer names or logos may identify experience, compatibility or source context. Their appearance, and links or references to third-party sites, products or services, do not imply endorsement by that organisation or by IFOST.
AI and professional-information warning
AI outputs, forecasts, simulations and educational materials may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated or unsuitable. Review them before relying on or forwarding them. Services do not provide legal, accounting, tax, financial, employment, medical, engineering, safety or other regulated professional advice and must not be the sole basis for a high-impact decision.
Privacy and confidentiality
Our Privacy Policy explains personal-information handling. We use customer content to deliver, support and secure the requested service and do not use it for model training, marketing, benchmarking, research, testing or unrelated product development without prior express permission. A separately signed confidentiality or data-processing agreement prevails where applicable.
Availability, warranties and liability
Free services and third-party integrations may change or be interrupted. To the extent permitted by law, IFOST is not responsible for indirect loss, a decision made without appropriate review, content supplied without authority, an incompatible customer system, or a third-party failure outside our reasonable control. For business services where a remedy may lawfully be limited, liability is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the service or paying the reasonable cost of re-supply.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right, consumer guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without displacing mandatory rights in another applicable jurisdiction. Contact [email protected] before commencing a dispute so that we can try to resolve it promptly.
