Who we are

IFOST Pty Ltd (ABN 40 628 328 307), trading as Industrial Linguistics, is based at 10 Cassia Grove, Beecroft NSW 2119, Australia. Privacy enquiries may be sent to [email protected].

Information we handle

Depending on the service, we may handle business contact details, account and organisation details, messages and files submitted to a service, training participation, predictions and comments, transaction references, support correspondence, consent records, security events, and ordinary web logs such as IP address, browser and requested page.

We do not operate a general marketing email list. If that changes, subscription will be voluntary and every marketing message will include an unsubscribe method.

Why we use it

We use information to provide the requested service, authenticate users, deliver purchases, process and reconcile payments, answer support requests, maintain security, prevent misuse, meet legal obligations, and improve reliability.

We do not use an organisation's questions, predictions, comments, files, results or other customer content for sales, marketing, model training, benchmarking, external demonstrations, research, testing or unrelated product development unless that organisation has given prior express permission.

AI processing and customer authority

Some tools send content to an identified AI provider when that is necessary to perform the task. The service page or product-specific notice explains this before submission. Users must have authority to submit workplace content and personal information. Do not submit highly sensitive or confidential material unless the organisation has approved the processing and appropriate safeguards.

Local AI Workbench runs in the browser and has no cloud fallback, apart from the browser's initial model download. Product supplements provide more detail for Forecast and Emailbot.

Providers and overseas processing

We disclose information only to providers needed for the relevant service. These may include Cloudflare and our hosting systems for delivery and security, Stripe for payments, OpenAI or another named AI provider for requested processing, Google or Microsoft for user-selected sign-in, GitHub for public software and downloads, and email providers for communications.

Providers may process information in Australia, the United States, Japan and other countries in which they or their contracted infrastructure operate. Their own terms and privacy practices also apply to information they process independently.

Cookies, local storage and analytics

We use only the session cookies or browser storage needed for sign-in, cart state, saved local work, security and requested functionality. The central static sites do not use Google Analytics or behavioural advertising trackers. A product that uses separate measurement will identify it in its own notice.

Retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the service, support, security, dispute resolution and legal obligations. Unless a product notice, customer agreement or law requires otherwise, verified deletion requests and closed-account customer content are actioned within 30 days; residual backups may take up to 90 days to expire. Minimal transaction and legal records may be retained for the statutory period.

We use access controls, transport security, restricted service accounts, backups and operational monitoring appropriate to the service. No internet service can promise absolute security.

Access, correction, deletion and complaints

You may request access, correction or deletion, withdraw an optional consent, or make a privacy complaint by emailing [email protected]. We may verify the request and consult the customer organisation where it controls the relevant workplace record. We will explain if a legal obligation prevents a requested deletion.
